Twydall’s traditional local, we serve up cask ales and community spirit. The Dewdrop plays a major part in local life, supporting several darts, pool and cards teams.
The Dewdrop is especially popular in summer, when a large beer garden invites you to soak up the sun. Whatever the season though, a warm welcome at The Dewdrop always awaits.
It’s great place to watch the football too, with BT Sport providing all the big-match action and award-wining ales coming courtesy of Kent’s own Shepherd Neame brewery.

I have always loved this pub. It was a large part of my early adult life. It is in a quiet part of Twydall and a real community pub without it feeling exclusive. The bar staff are friendly and there is separate areas for sport and just chilling.
It also has a nice pub garden/patio area out the front with grass for kiddies in the summer.
Visited the Dewdrop today and had the pleasure of trying their Sunday roast. We both had the 3 meat roast which was chicken, gammon and beef. The beef was amazing melt in the mouth and the accompanying veg, roasties and yorkies were all perfectly cooked.
Everything tasted home cooked and not cooked en mass/ reheated like some pub lunches. It’s the best roast I’ve had I a pub for a long, long time and I’ll definitely go back. It’s best to pre book to avoid being turned away as, understandably they’re doing a roaring trade!
We recently met with friends at The Dewdrop and had a fantastic evening. The new landlords Louise and Steve are excellent hosts. Whilst we were there, several meals were being served and I must say they looked lovely. We will be going back for sure soon and next time will eat there.
